An educational site, where you can gain an insight of saradiyels life. It is recommended to get a guide from the entrance. Once you get a ticket this service is free. Also you can get a good lunch from(buy separately) the place . If you have time you can also visit the saradiyels rock, which is a mini hike

A good place for a quick escape. Can get a good understanding about history of the Colonial period. The place is a shirt distance from the main road. Parking is available at the place. Entrance fee is very reasonable. They will provide a tour guide if possible. Saradiel rock is near to the property. Altogether an interesting place to visit.

Lot of information about 19th century culture and about saradiel.. it's a must visit place for all the kids who are repairing for grade 5 scholarship exam and O/L Sinhala paper.. they explains everything using a story line.. the guide explained in sinhala, and I wander if they can do it in English though.. the guide speaks bit too fast and sometimes can get unclear, but she is a really good explainer.. u will need at least 30 mins to visit this place..

For those who are keen to learn the history of Soora Saradiyel, this is the best place to be. The place is a recreation of the 19th century Sri Lankan traditional village. There are guides who take you the tour throughout the village explaining everything related to the places and incidents to do with Saradiyel's life story. The village entrance ticket is Rs. 100/- per person (Locals).

It is a place to remind our history. Olden lifestyles and community hierarchy is depicted in sculptured models. The demonstrator takes us through a detailed journey narrating the tale of Sri Lankan Robin Hood (i.e. Saradiel). His way of presenting in interesting and non-boring. Worth a visit for the locals as well and for foreigners.
