A very well built place. It unfolds all the pages of the history of the PUNJAB WAR HEROES from the ancient time to the recent times. It's a house of knowledge. You need about one and a half hour to completely experience this site. A 7D Show is a must watch here.

Must visit. An excellent place. Great experience. A very good effort by the Government. 7D theater a great fun. Concessional ticket for students and free for defence persons. It's on way to Attari border, so can be visited before moving to border.

A place to remember u must visit this place remembering heroes of the country we should not forget the saragarhi fighters. This place has a full equipped museum the statues here are just amazing. They deem to be original one can just get mistaken from the Earth to originality. One can click pics with historical ships tanks etc. The 7d Show that is being screened is not up to date one thing something is missing so they should update how so ever everything is well planned and gives good look thanks

Great Initiative by Government of Punjab. Went there on the suggestion of DC Amritsar. You really feel good about your country going through the museum. The sections on Sikh history were wonderful. The 7D was bit of a letdown. Every State in India should have such a memorial.

Absolute gem of a place. Nothing of its like exists anywhere in the country, as far as documenting and so beautifully and interactively depicting it. All the way from Sikh Gurus' history to modern day Indian Army wars, all the famous battles and all the heroes of the Sikhs and Indian Army displayed and their stories told. Must visit for all history, culture and defence-study buffs. Also includes a fun 7-D theatre experience...Which enthralls kids and elders alike. Must visit if you're visiting Amritsar.

It was nice work done in form of Audio Visual presentation of Sikh warriors and their history. This includes Life like statues sculpture using projector lights background story and special kind of speakers only start when you are under them. It is a really master piece work by Punjab Government. The attraction for kids may be 7D Theater representing a war movie and ride experience. Must place to visit.

This museum is awesome. The wax figures etc are absolutely amazing. A lot of money has been spent by the Punjab Government to build this museum, but unfortunately the management is lowsey. The Managing Director colonel H P Singh does not seem to be running this place very well due to shortage of funds. The air conditioning is off in the hot summer months as a result of which we could not stand to be inside the buildings more than a few minutes. The staff were having a very hard time standing on duty because they were perspiring profusely.
I feel they should either keep the place closed May-October or turn on the AC noon onwards if they cannot afford the electricity. This should be mentioned on the website.

Wonderful place to visit. Entry ticket only 100 Rs. per person. 7d movie is good. Museum is awesome, lots of realistic wax statues. Must visit place, Lots of detailed knowledge among the young ones and kids about history of punjabi war heroes. If you're in Amritsar you shouldn't be missing this. You'll need 4-5 hours to actually look around all galleries.

Great effort by Punjab govt...for such an initiative to remember those who fought for our freedom... a must visit for locals and visitors ..

Subhendu Sekhar Sahoo (16/07/2017 12:42)
Beautiful place, very well maintained and talks about the history of wars and heroism of our people. There is a short movie also which I felt not worthy spending that time, but the museum is a must watch if you want to know all the history.

If you're in Amritsar, you shouldn't be missing this. Memorial and museum made to showcase the sacrifice made by Punjabi warheroes. You'll need 4-5 hours to actually look around all the galleries, which is worthwhile. Inaugurated in 2016 by Parkash Singh Badal. A MUST VISIT.

Arpit Gulati (22/06/2017 15:46)
It's a must watch place, distributes lots of detailed knowledge among the young ones and kids about the history and the wars led in our country. Sculptures made with wax are very beautifully crafted. Lighting inside is awesome! And there's also a 7d movie theatre inside. Ample amount of area, which is also very neat and clean. 👍🏻

Sangeeta Prasher (15/01/2017 16:39)
