Murimugan Temple. Visit on Tuesday. Very powerful temple. Whatever you wish will Happen if you go for 6 weeks. Try to go in Car and you can get very fresh vegetables here.

Wonderful place for worship Tuesdays this place is busy more devotees will be visiting unmarried grils can go and worship for good marriage life. For court cases for a fast settlement if you visit it will be settled fast . parking near by temple not available you have to park away from the temple you have to pay Rs 10. you can buy fresh vegetables from near by villages by way of purchase we can support our farmers

Good Q Management. Can be improved. Minimum facilities for pilgrims. With the amount collected facilities can be improved. People were littering everywhere need to control, if necessary should impose penalty.

Good place and clam but there is a lot of people who are waiting in the entrance of the temple for selling there things which will irritate you. if these people are not there it's great experience in the journey of spiritual. If someone help to organise the place & pond which is dirty. It ll be great. People (everyone have change and be responsible person including myself). So that every place will be pleasant place to visit.

Spiritual experience, devotee can certainly feel the divinity. Calm and peaceful atmosphere too. Lord Bala Murugan is extremely pleasing to see. Priests are good as well, they perform rituals through proper mantras. Must visit temples if you’re in and around Chennai.

Great place. Local people occupy the road with their locally grown vegetables for selling. Traffic is bit high in the temple road.

Binu Udayakumar (11/12/2017 23:12)
Very powerful temple. Go around 4.30 pm in the evening, to have darshan of abhishekam and alankaram. Avoid Tuesdays, if you expect a calm place to worship.

Mohan Das (10/12/2017 17:40)
Quite a nice place to visit. This has a historical importance. Arunagiri nathar mentioned in his poems.

Very peaceful place expect on Tuesdays since its special day in temple..there is a wish tree where everyone writes their wish on a paper and ties it to the tree..(we saw a cobra too sleeping there peacefully)..The lord murgan statue is 500yrs old and is made of green emerald/jade.. It emits peaceful calmness around it..the pujaris r also good here...good place for family outing without any city rush...only small shopes r here so pack your food and water...inside temple camera is not allowed.

srinivas vittal (23/11/2017 15:25)
It's a nice temple, however it is a bit far from the city. If you have the time please do go and check as buses are not a problem as there is well connectivity to this place from RedHills .

Balasubramanyar swamy (Murugan) is said to be powerful, granting the wishes of devotees. This beautiful temple in a village with a separate sannidhis for Annamalaiyar (Lord Shiva) & Unnamulai Amman , vinayagar , bairavar , arunagirinathar , navagraham , muneeshwarar & Aadhi moolavar ( Murugan) . The utsava moorthy of Lord Muruga is seen as Valli Manalar in a wedding posture holding hand of Valli. Ppl is praying here for getting married or buying house. Lord muruga here is believed to so powerful who grant wishes for his devotees when they prayed Him from anywhere.

Blessed saint Arunagiri Nathar sang 10000 Thirupugazh songs, out of which we have got only 1330. In these, he has sanctified 224 shrines, out of which, 9 have not yet been identified. So we know only 215 shrines. In these, he has given more importance to 35 places than others.8 places have been sanctified with 4 songs each. 6 have “Archanai Thirupughazh” sung on them. And Siruvapuri is one shrine which has both the specialties of 4 songs with an “Archanai Thirupughazh.”

Let Him bless all of us 🙏

Stephen Sureshkumar (15/08/2017 19:52)
Very nice divine place. Lord Balamurugan Temple is one of my favourite. The maintenance of the temple is good... Should improve the road facility by two-way road. In festival season, the devotees are suffer on heavy traffic infront of the temple.

I like the village atmosphere of this temple. But the place around the temple is so congested and lot of cows and dogs are roaming. In my preference its an ideal place to visit in the evening.
