Description: The Lethe All Age School is situated in south St. James near the Great River. Lethe is a small rural community twelve miles from Montego Bay. It is a former sugar estate and is now the home of Mountain Valley Rafting. Most of the residents are unskilled and receive their main income through rafting done on the Great River or by working in establishments in Montego Bay.
Lethe All Age School was built by the government of Jamaica on land leased from the Methodist Church. It was built to accommodate one hundred and fifty (150) students; however it now housed one hundred and thirty seven (147) students along with 6 six teachers inclusive of the principal
